Innocence

The world premiere of the new opera by Kaija Saariaho and Sofi Oksanen at Festival d’Aix-en-Province on 3 July 2021 was a major success. The premiere at the Finnish National Opera will take place on 21 October 2022.

Siegfried

Siegfried is the third part of the Ring cycle by Wagner, in which the mythical hero Siegfried fights to win back the ring forged from the Rheingold, standing in the way of Wotan, the lord of the gods. The opera, directed by Anna Kelo and conducted by Hannu Lintu, is set to become the highlight of spring 2023.
