You can enjoy refreshments before the performance or during the interval. We recommend ordering refreshments in advance. Online sales end 24 hours before the performance at the latest.

Good to know before you order
Refreshment sales in the online shop end by 24 hours before the performance. Subject to table availability, you can still order refreshments by telephone or at the Bar & Café Carmen service counter before the performance. Sales of the Art&Dinner packages end by 96 hours before the performance.
Same day orders by telephone:
- You can enquire about table availability for Mon to Fri performances until 11:30 a.m.
- For weekend performances, telephone orders must be made by Friday at 4 p.m.
- Refreshment orders made by telephone are subject to a 5 euro service fee per order.
The Opera Restaurant has several service counters where you can buy food and drinks before the performance or during the interval. The main entrance is opened 1.5 hours before a performance in the Main Stage. The service counters of the Opera Restaurant are open and the pre-performance refreshments ordered in advance are laid out as soon as the doors open.
There are two counters in the Main Foyer, Bar & Café Carmen and Bar & Café Juha, along with a champagne bar in the Aino Lobby. The Lounge Parvi at the Balcony Foyer and the Almi Hall Foyer have their own service counters. You can check the location of the different service counters on the layout map of our public spaces.
The Art&Dinner packages are laid out in the Balcony Lounge on selected performance dates from 5 p.m. Read more about our Art&Dinner packages.
Please note that the selection available at service counters may vary by performance and may not include everything that is available in the online store. To ensure that you can enjoy your favourite refreshments, please order them online beforehand.
We will email your table number to you a few hours before the performance at the latest. The table number will also be sent to the Opera&Ballet mobile app.
Please note that we can’t guarantee a specific table for orders made online. We may seat several parties at the same table. At some of our higher tables, refreshments are enjoyed standing up.
