The sales terms and conditions for the Finnish National Opera and Ballet will apply to season 2019–2020. The products from the Opera Restaurant are also available from the online store. You will find the updated sales terms and conditions of the Opera Restaurant further down on this page.
We operate with a dynamic pricing policy. The seats in the auditorium are divided into 8 price categories from A to H, depending on their view of the stage. As well as the view, the price is affected by the acoustics, the distance from the stage, any obstructions such as safety rails, and the effects of the production’s direction on the view. The cheapest tickets may have restricted views, and the same price category may include tickets in different parts of the auditorium.
The price of the ticket will also depend upon the selected performance (the production and possible visiting artists), and time (such as a weekday), as well as ticket demand. The price of a seat may vary during the performance period. Tickets for premieres have a higher price range. For detailed pricing information and a seating plan showing seat availability, please visit your chosen production’s dedicated page and click on your preferred date.
Please note that the seats in the cheapest price category on the third balcony can’t be reserved.
Concession pricing is available for selected seats in the stalls and 1st and 2nd balconies unless otherwise indicated. Discounts are given on the full price of tickets to performances in the Main Stage excluding premieres and guest performances. The discounts and concession fares will be rounded to the nearest euro. The prices and concessions for tickets to performances in Almi Hall and the foyers vary by production. The Finnish National Opera and Ballet reserves the right to make changes to availability of concessions and discounts.
Group discounts are valid from Monday to Thursday. The discount for groups of 10–29 people is 5% per ticket and 10% per ticket for groups of 30 or more. You can currently purchase a maximum of 20 tickets for one performance from the online store. Please see the group tickets section for more information.
