Opera & Ballet in Action
TAKING OPERA AND BALLET INTO YOUR OWN HANDS
In Opera & Ballet in Action workshops, 5 to 6 years olds can experience the fascinating world of opera and ballet. Participants learn about a selected Main Stage production through hands-on activities, such as dancing, and crafting. In the 2025–2026 season, the workshops last approximately 1 hour and are held in Finnish.
In Opera & Ballet in Action workshops everyone takes part – children and adults alike. Please note that every participating child must be accompanied by an adult. What’s more, as everyone gets to take part in the fun, adults need their own tickets, too.
We offer daycare groups the opportunity to attend the Opera & Ballet in Action workshops free of charge. You can find instructions and the registration schedule on the For preschoolers page. Other groups than daycares can purchase tickets on this page under Tickets and performances.
