Become a test audience

We provide schoolchildren, students and other special groups the opportunity to visit our Dress Rehearsals as a test audience. The test audience adds an element of excitement, which gives the performers a taste of the real performance atmosphere.

Enrolment for the free Dress Rehearsals is done in advance according to the given schedule, which you can find on this page. Enrolment is done using the form that will be published on this page when the enrolment begins.

Enrolment to 2024–2025 Dress Rehearsals

Seats for our open Dress Rehearsals are allocated in order of enrolment, with priority given to first-time visitors. The maximum group size for schools is two school classes and 30 people for other groups due to restricted audience numbers. Please note that bookings are only accepted via the application form and according to the schedule given below. Please see the enrolment instructions.

Groups who have applied for seats will receive confirmation of successful enrolment within two to three weeks. Some Dress Rehearsals also include production-specific workshops. These will be announced separately to those who have successfully enrolled in the rehearsal in question. Please note that the current schedule may change.

Wed 26 Feb at 11.30 a.m. Édith Piaf – La vie en rose (estimated duration 2 H, incl. 1 interval)
Age recommendation 12+.

Enrolment to following Dress Rehearsals will start on 4 February at 9 a.m.

Mon 24 Mar at 11 a.m. Animal Farm (estimated duration 2 H 25 min, incl. 1 interval)
Age recommendation 16+.

Wed 9 Apr at 11.30 a.m. T(r)anssi (estimated duration 1 H 50 min, incl. 1 interval)
Age recommendation 12+.

Mon 5 May at 7 p.m. The Horseman (estimated duration 2 H 30 min, incl. 1 interval). Please note that this is an evening rehearsal.

Enrolment instructions

We are delighted by the high level of interest groups have taken in our open Dress Rehearsals. To make it possible for as many groups as possible to attend, it is important to answer all the following questions on the enrolment form:

• Has the group previously attended a Dress Rehearsal? If so, when?
• Group contact details (name of group/school/year)
• Group size (adults and children separately, max. 2 school classes for schools and approx. 30 people for other groups)
• Group contact person, phone number and email address
• Reason why this group should be chosen to attend the rehearsal
• Reason why this group should be chosen to attend the rehearsal

Unfortunately, we are unable to process incomplete enrolment forms or accept enrolment via email. As it takes a few weeks to process the forms, there is a slight delay in confirming seats.
