Would you like to see an opera or ballet but can’t think of anyone to go with? Visit our rehearsals with a Culture Companion!
Culture Companions are available free of charge. Culture Companions operate in Helsinki and Espoo; in Vantaa, they are called Art and Culture Companions. If you need further information on Culture Companions at the FNOB, send us an email to yleisotyo[at]opera.fi.
Dress Rehearsals in season 2023–2024
IMPORTANT: The Culture Companions in Helsinki and Espoo, and the Art and Culture Companions in Vantaa must enrol in the rehearsals through their respective Culture Companion programs. Please see the instructions below. Kindly direct any inquiries about seat availability to your program, too. Seat reservations cannot be made through the Finnish National Opera and Ballet ticket sales.
Dress rehearsals in season 2023–2024 will be published on this page in August.
Would you like to have a Culture Companion in Helsinki?

Give your contact information and tell which dress rehearsal you would like to attend. The companion will book the ticket and call you. You agree on where and when to meet. Enjoy the cultural experience!
Would you like to have a Culture Companion in Espoo?

Travel is principally by public transport, using your own ticket(s).
