Ballet energy for schools workshops will introduce ballet to schoolchildren as both a sport and an art form. Its goal is to inspire 7-year-olds to take up dance and inspire curiosity towards ballet.
Rrrrrr. Story of a Caterpillar is a visually beautiful and playful wordless dance and music theater performance for children aged 2 to 6, as well as their families or accompanying teachers. The performance is accompanied by Chopin’s most beloved compositions – waltzes, nocturnes, and mazurkas – interpreted by pianist Enric Roda live on stage as part of the show. Towards the end, children are also welcome to participate if they wish.
In Opera & Ballet in Action workshops, 5 to 6 years olds can experience the fascinating world of opera and ballet. Participants learn about a selected Main Stage production through hands-on activities, such as making music, dancing, and drama. In autumn 2025, the workshops last approximately 1.5 hours and are held in Finnish.
Mini opera The Barber of Seville is a cheerful and colourful performance, full of speed and surprising twists. The 30-minute performance is suitable for everyone over the age of two.
