Exceptional sales terms and conditions for the Phantom of the Opera and the Symphonic Suites concerts

The sales terms and conditions and concessions for tickets to the Phantom of the Opera and the Symphonic Suites concerts differ from the general sales and delivery terms and conditions of the Finnish National Opera and Ballet.

The musical and the concert are co-produced with The Really Useful Group.

Ticket exchanges

Tickets for The Phantom of the Opera and the Symphonic Suites concert are non-returnable. Tickets can only be exchanged for another performance of The Phantom of the Opera or the Symphonic Suites concert no later than 24 hours before the start time of the original performance. The tickets can only be exchanged for another performance of the work you originally selected. Tickets can be exchanged by calling our customer services or visiting our customer service point at the Opera House. Exchanges cannot be made via email or through your customer account in our online store. Group bookings (20 tickets or more) are not eligible for exchanges.

Tickets can only be exchanged for ones of equal or greater value. Any price difference will be charged at the time of the exchange.

Concessions

Concession prices are calculated from standard Main Stage ticket rates and rounded up to the nearest euro. Proof of concession must be presented upon request when arriving at the performance.

Please note that only 2 tickets per customer can be purchased in the most economical price category H on the 3rd balcony.

Groups: Groups of at least 20 people are entitled to a 10% discount per ticket. The group discount does not apply to the Symphonic Suites concerts. When you buy 20 or more tickets at the standard rate, the 21st ticket will be free. Concessionary tickets are only available for performances from Monday to Thursday. Concession pricing is available for seats in the stalls and the first balcony (price categories A, B, C and D1). Group tickets can only be purchased and reserved via the Finnish National Opera and Ballet customer services. Tickets for groups of less than 20 people can also be redeemed at Stockmann service desks or online. Stockmann charges a service fee of €1.50 per ticket.

Please note that group tickets (more than 20 tickets) must be redeemed within one month of the reservation date.

Children and young adults: The discount for ticket prices for 20-year-olds and under is 20%. The discount applies to all performances. Concession pricing is available for selected seats in the stalls and 1st and 2nd balconies (price categories A–E).

Students: Students are eligible for a 20% discount for ticket prices. The discount only applies to performances from Monday to Friday and Saturday matinees starting at 2 p.m. Concession pricing is available for selected seats in the stalls and 1st and 2nd balconies (price categories A–E).

Pensioners: Our pensioners’ discount for ticket prices is 5%. The discount only applies to performances from Monday to Thursday and Saturday matinees starting at 2 p.m. Concession pricing is available for seats in the stalls and 1st balcony only (price categories A, B, C and D1).

Accessible seats and seats for assistants and companions: A 50 % discount applies for individuals requiring an accessible seat. Tickets for the assistant or companion of a visitor occupying an accessible seat are available at a flat rate of €30. Accessible seats are located in the boxes on the right side of the 1st and 2nd balconies. The holders of European Disability Cards do not qualify for complimentary tickets. Accessible seats and seats for assistants and companions can only be reserved through the Finnish National Opera customer services. The tickets can be redeemed at Stockmann service desks or in the Finnish National Opera and Ballet online store.

service fees

Tickets for the Phantom of the Opera and the Symphonic Suites concerts are sold in the online store at staging.oopperabaletti.fi/en, at the Finnish National Opera and Ballet box office, and at Stockmann service desks. The ticket prices are the same in the online store and the box office. Stockmann service desks charge a service fee of €1.50 per ticket.

A €10 reservation/service fee per reservation applies to group reservations, payable as soon as the reservation is confirmed.

Repertoire changes and force majeure cases

In case of a repertoire change or a cancellation due to force majeure, the value of your ticket will be credited to your customer account in exchange for the original ticket. Service and delivery fees are non-refundable. If you prefer another form of refund, please contact our customer services within one month of the change or cancellation. The Finnish National Opera and Ballet does not take responsibility for any other expenses incurred.
